02 · Desk Mode

This is what the entrance operator actually does.

Desk Mode is the staff-facing arrival workspace. The operator can find an attendee, inspect the event record, correct permitted fields, check the person in and print the active badge without leaving the workflow.

Search:Use QR, registration code, name or email.
Open the attendee:Review identity, organization, attendee type, access and configured event fields.
Correct details:Authorized changes become the current event record.
Check in:Pending becomes checked in and the event state updates.
Print:The badge template merges with the attendee’s current data and QR payload.

03 · What happens after Check-in

One check-in updates the attendee’s status across the event.

When Maria is checked in, her current status becomes available to the other authorized operational interfaces. Another entrance sees the updated attendee instead of processing a separate copy of the list.

04 · Badge printing

The badge is generated from the current attendee record.

The event defines the active badge template and which fields appear on it. When staff print, Domplatta combines that template with the attendee’s current data and configured QR payload.

Template:The event controls layout, visible fields and QR content.
Current data:Name, organization, access and other permitted fields come from the attendee record.
Print station:The generated output is sent through the configured badge-print workflow.
Reprint:If the badge is lost or the attendee changed, the next print uses the current record.

05 · Kiosk Mode

Kiosk Mode gives attendees a focused self-service arrival flow.

The attendee scans a QR code, Domplatta finds the matching event record and continues through the steps enabled for that kiosk. The interface stays intentionally simple because it is designed for the guest, not the event operator.

06 · Multiple entrances

Four entrances should not mean four versions of the attendee list.

If Maria checks in at Entrance A, another operator who searches for Maria should see the current event status. The goal is one operational person state shared by the interfaces that need it.

08 · The attendee continues through the event

Check-in is not the end of the attendee record.

The entrance operator works from the attendee’s current event record.

Desk Mode is the assisted arrival workspace. Search by QR, registration code, name or email, open the attendee, review the configured event fields and continue the same workflow through check-in and badge output.

03 · Badge printing

The active badge template is filled with the attendee’s current data.

The event controls the badge layout, visible attendee fields and QR content. If an authorized operator corrects Maria’s data onsite, the next print or reprint uses the updated attendee record.
